Rolled in, and the drummer set up his gear for about a half hour while I soundchecked through my board and set levels on my amp. When all was said and done, we were still waiting on the other band members, so he suggested we goof around on the intro of Streets, just to make it go as smoothly as possible when the other guys got there.

By the end of Elevation, Johno and I were playing off each other, very similar to how Bono and Edge have chemistry on stage. Smiles all around, LOT of fun was had.

Got a call about an hour later, and I'm in Gotta learn something like 35 songs over the next several weeks, as my first gig will be August 8 (coincidentally the real Edge's birthday). Can't wait to be keeping you guys posted on everything!!

    Congratulations Matt !!

No, upon listening to it again I think Larry is causing the noise as it's in sync with his drumming. It must be a reverberation, most notable after he hits the snare. If you turn it up loud, you'll hear it. I only really notice it when I'm out and about and I listen to music at a higher level. But it really distracts me.

Doesn't Ultra Violet also have some other mistake in there? I'll have to dig the topic out

I honestly can't hear it. Even when I turn it up.

I could hear a slight humming noise at the end of the intro. I thought that was what you were on about but it goes away after a second or so.
  6. It's is there, trust me
  7. A trailer and a promo I had to make for school :

I think I can hear something, after the intro but it's a faint hum which I don't think is what you are hearing? I'm not sure

Vertigo also has a noise in the intro, like a guitar string snapping or being hit. I noticed it a while back. Stuff like that in songs is always funny because once you notice it, there is no going back.

I hear it now I think. When he hits the snare, it sounds extended, almost like he hits it twice ridiculously fast . Is that it?
