    Hi Fly40. Thanks for asking. Yes, the family is still accepting donations. The operation went well, fortunately! But yeah, the parents are now buried in debt, as this was not the first surgery for Emilia. Any contribution is more than welcome, thanks a bunch!

    I didn’t realise the operation had went ahead already that’s great that it went well. I hope the parents financial situation improves, whilst Emilia’s health will be there priority financial difficulties don’t help ease worries that for sure.
  10. Actually, I just asked and I have great news: Not only Emilia is now healthy and the operation was a success, the hospital agreed to reduce the cost for the operation and what they already collected was enough! So no more contributions are needed.
    I want to thank Dean for his generous and selfless act, and Fly40 for his noble intentions. Thanks a bunch!

    That’s incredible news, so happy to hear that. It really is the perfect outcome it seems. You and Emilia and her parents are very welcome, I was only a small part of a great collective effort.
