1. I ADORE Red Hill Mining Town. I love singing it in dueto with my mom, she sings the Bono lines and I sing harmonies (a 5th usually) above that - pretty hard but incredibly gorgeous sounding and much fun to do
  2. I once came across a website that was called something like "complete the Joshua Tree" and it was an extended tracklisting featuring a bunch of the b-sides in a certain running order on the album. The guy who made it basically said you can't understand "this" song (ex. Trip Through Your Wires) without "this" song, (ex, Walk Through The Water). I can't remember what his match-ups were, or what the running order was, but I never got a chance to try it out. Would've liked to. Can't find it anymore though.
  3. Red Hill Mining Town is a great song.
  4. I know the site you mean, saw it not too long ago. It was meant to be how the album would run over a double-set.

Least favourite song on JT - honestly couldn't pick one. Every song is brilliant. Those notes on Red Hill - I have some trouble reaching them but if I'm singing ridiculously high - which I like to do, I can try.

    I'd probably say this.
  6. My to too do list.

    1. Decide whether to go to college.
    2. Find another job.
    3. Fill out voter registration paperwork.
  7. Apparently Superbowl XLVI (last night's one) was the most-watched TV show in US history with 111.3 million viewers. That's over a third of the United States that watched it!
  8. ^ Yeah I heard that. From what I saw it was a great game - and that half-time show minus Madonna's new song was pretty fucking spectacular.

College...are there any courses worth your while. Finding another job is a good idea, then you might be able to advance to whatever.
  9. Anybody out there?
  10. I'm feeling quite pissed of at someone who's not doing her part in a group project in History.

  11. I've been there before man. Back when I was in HS I always ended up doing the majority of the work on group projects, in History classes, since its an area of expertise of mine. Ocasionally someone else would do the final copy, since i tend to write in a rather sloppy shorthand that only I understand. It was especially bad in my WW2 history class, since that is something I tend to be particularly knowing about.
  12. We're doing 1900s history right now. Just finished with the First World War, right now we're on the Interwar period.

WW2 will be nice to study.
