I think education is a good option.

Aaron, it completely depends on what you want to do with a degree. Given the character that you've shown on this site (trying my best not to completely judge you as a person), it seems like community college would be a good place to start. That way you're not paying exorbitant amounts of money for something that you may not like. If you were to decide to upgrade to a university, some of those credits that you earn at community could very well transfer.

If you want to do anything that requires an interview, a degree is almost necessary nowadays whether or not that's right. If you want to repair dishwashers, obviously stay home.

  3. I don't know you well enough to give you any advice
  4. Looking at community college. Have to decide by the end of the month if I want to get financial aid. Fully intend to pay back said financial aid if I decide to go.
  5. Education is probably the good long-term option economically since it'd help you get better jobs.

I would do it. Rather have tried and changed my mind than spend the rest of my life being wishy-washy about the idea. Take some action.
  7. Are posts not immediately appearing for anyone else? Not just here on GC, but anywhere else....often times I post and my content disappears. When I refresh the page it's there, or sometimes not. Yet sometimes it posts right away.....strange.

Could be a LT thing, IDK
  8. Matt: It's the case here as well.

I agree with Matt. Nearly everybody takes financial aid for their education. It's basically necessary.
  9. How have you been lately Kirsten?
  10. I'm the rare type, who plans to pay it back though.

Random note: You ever find Nebraska on vinyl? I recall you were looking for it but could not find a good price on it.

  11. No, I still haven't found what I'm looking for it.

I used a song from it in a short movie we did in English though, was kinda funny.
  12. I was actually going to buy that one that I thought was a bit too expensive, but then I saw the sleeve was pretty badly worn and just didn't feel like buying it anymore.
