  4. Anyone ever notice that Bullet the Blue Sky almost always has a sick intro? The only times it really didn't were the Lovetown Tour and certain times on the Elevation Tour.

    Joshua Tree > "Star Spangled Banner" intro
    Lovetown > Nothing special
    ZooTV > All I Want is You, crowd singing, band dives into the song
    Zooropa > Dirty Day falling into BTBS
    PopMart > Miami seamlessly gunning the song
    PopMart > Sunday Bloody Sunday....Edge walks back down the stage to the mainstage after SBS and leans back like he's cocking a gun and tears the note off the guitar
    Elevation > "There are no good guns....there are no bad guns"
    Vertigo > SBS seamlessly going into the song
  5. I personally love the Elevation intro to BTBS. And yeah, I had noticed!

    PS. On Zoo TV, sometimes it was just Bad (or The First Time snippet) seguing into Bullet, not AIWIY. But we get your point

    Ah yeah, that's right I forgot sometimes they left out AIWIY.

    I like the Elevation one usually. Did they do the Charlton Heston "Well, here's my credo.." every time? I don't think that they did for some reason...those are the ones I love.

I wanna take my best friend to Ireland, and soon because she needs to get away from work and breathe for a couple of days. it's her bday today plus AirLingus has dropped the prices for flights, so last night I was all "yeah go me".... but now that I've checked dates and flights for booking, I realize it's incredibly hard to combine cheap flights with both our work schedules frustrating I even thought about taking her along to the U2 reunion in April and then prolong the trip for a couple of days to show her around the country... but she has no connection to U2 or those other crazy fans I intend to meet that weekend (=) ), so that doesn't seem to be a good idea

  12. Kirsten, taking your friend along could be a great idea (she might enjoy the atmosphere anyway) or a terrible idea (her + U2 fans).
