Unless her boyfriend wasn't invited? Then he wouldn't be there to dance with and she wouldn't dance with someone else out of respect for the man she loves...

I'd take Ronnie's advice, if she hasn't mentioned someone else, then assume she is single. If she is with someone, you won't lose her as a friend, so it's not the end of the world. Who knows, she may be playing the exact same game for you. Her cousins trying to set her up however, points to either her being single or them wanting some childish fun.
  2. If you feel like you have a chance, try. Otherwise you're sure to regret it.

Shes really been opening up me me lately about things like her friends and family. I feel if she had a boyfriend she would have told me by now.

She also isn't the kind of girl men tend to line up for(granted most men only look at the superficial side of things). She is not very atractive(although she does have very pretty eyes), and a personality that can be somewhat annoying(one of the things we got in common). She is also very openly religious (but not overly preachy) which I know is a turn off for some guys.

  4. Thursday I dont have the class I normally have after the class I have with her(its also her only class on that day). I was considering asking if she wanted to go up to the rec center to play some golf or b-ball. The old date thats not a date ploy. Just two friends engaging in a non-romantic activitie.
  5. Sounds like it could be a plan. "Date that's not a date" can turn on you too though. Good luck if you go for it!
  6. Five to one odds I dont do it.

I get the impression she might make the next move if she has too but would prefer not too.

It would be funny though for her to kick my ass at b-ball (I enjoy sports but suck at most).

I've said it before. I'm more comfortable in dangerous situations, than I am around women I like.
  7. Hehe wts, you will be ok!

Was dreaming then got abruptly woken up, and forget my dream, dont you hate that!

  8. Depends on the dream Buttons
  9. My mother woke me up, believe me forget any dream.

  10. Goes perfect with my current life situation, romantic or otherwise.
  11. Full disclosure: My love life is hardly the only part of my life thast a wreck, but I tend to post about it most because I feel I'm in the best position to change it right now, and I'm rather insecure with members of the fairer sex. I blame my poor relationships with my mother and my sister.

I dont want a one night stand with a skank at a bar. I want a meaningful long-term relationship, with a nice smart girl, who has a good sense of humor.
