    Alex, this cat belongs to an institution that take care of homeless kids. They asked me to take some pics for them and this lovely cat was there playing with the children.

  6. Folks anyone able to help me with this. I've been dicking around with this shot for potential desktop wallpaper use but have just been musing a tablet app. Anyone able to exaggerate the rainbow for me? Not drastically but maybe 2 or 3 notches of contrast or saturation specifically on that section. Can't be done on my app. Any help appreciated.

  7. Long live N8, seriously, best phone camera ever. How I miss it can't be expressed with words I can't do that for you since I don't have my laptop with me atm, Ger (Gimp and Photoshop are installed there). Maybe this evening I can take a shot at it.

  8. Yes no rush at all. I think I'll get an 808 before too long.

  10. there were some reports of the cropping software being not so great, which means you'd have to use the maximum resolution possible at all shots (26 megapxels was it?). Tghat also means your sd card would soon get filled up, and each pic would take ages to save (unless you used a class 8-10 card)... not too keen on it
  11. 38mp max resolution. I never heard similar reports of issues with the oversampling to allow lossless cropping and zooming. A 32gb card would do grand for storage and the camera has its own processor to allow quick processing of shots. For my use case it should be fine.

    She's still a kitten, so eyes are huge haha she was playing around and just got from under the bed for a second, and then I cought this moment. I think she's got scered by this big black unknown thing called Nikon and that caused this stare.

    @Buttons: I work next to the flower shop and got to know some people there, so I just borrowed this flower to take a pic. Those girls in the shop used to tell me that they're getting boxes with flowers sometimes packed with a bonus, like "and then there was this biiiiig dutch spider!" - as if they saw Aragog or something lol I dunno why I'm telling you that, but that just gets me everytime
