1. I like it more than the first one. I like it a lot, in fact.

It totally sounded like Eddie Vedder when the vocals came in and at around 02:25!

EDIT (for the narrow minded): that doesn't mean I'm comparing them, or saying Brian sings like Eddie at all. It's just he sounded like Ed for a moment, similar vocal intonation and tone - and I'm not the only one who says that about this particular track.
  2. I prefer Rollin' and Tumbin'. Some pop in this one's sound that I don't like, but it's still a good one. I want that album.
  3. Rollin' is more like the same stuff we've heard in all of their albums.
  4. I was hoping this album would be meaner with that title.
  5. Woke up this morning to an email that this was available for me on iTunes. Its the first track on the album... and I was shocked how much it changed pace/tone throughout the song.

It appears they are all over the place this album. Some heavier stuff, some of the same, and some poppier keyboard sounding songs.

    Interesting.

    I like it.
  6. Loving the new songs still hate the album cover though...
  7. Fallon did say they were going for the Pearl Jam's fourth album, No Code, approach. So maybe the mixture of heavy stuff and original Gaslight Anthem is derived from that.
  8. I'm really excited about this album.
  9. The album has been leaked this morning.

    Talking U2?!

  10. Let's hope some tour dates "leak" too

  11. Already have my ticket for 05.11.2014 Saarbrücken, Germany (15 minutes from my home ;-) )
  12. Really really enjoyed the First Play on iTunes. Very excited to see them next month in Philly.... I feel like Dark Places could become the new set closer, over taking the BackSeat
