So maybe you don't have to go to Sydney for it.

  3. Hey, all.

I found a really good review of U2 3D by Owen Gilberman of Entertainment Weekly. (Even if he did called "Bullet" a dud -- moron) It's coupled with his review of Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert.

    Links to the reviews:

    U2 3D Specific Link

Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Specific Link (Read the comments, they are hilarious)

    ---

    On an editorial note.

If you read the massive publicity for the Hannah Montana concert film, you knew that this was advertised as a one-week only engagement. So because of this the theaters have killed themselves to fill the demand. (I even found 16 showings on 2 screens at the same theater that is currently showing only 4 showings, at the most, of U2 3D) It's not enough.

So theaters have already been starting to get permission to show the Hannah Montana film another week.

I don't know about you but I find this to be a cruel form of marketing. Make a small window for people to see the film, just like the tour, and break the bank.

You don't see U2 doing that.
  4. According to the Dutch U2 fanclub, U23D will probably not be shown in the Netherlands, as well as other Europe countries (aside from the UK).

I really hate this, why wouldn't they?

I don't know. They have a decent fanbase in the Netherlands.

But the release date for Germany is already set for March 13th, also France has already a release date in March so I hope the rest of Europe will get the movie too in their cinemas during March.

Also, showing in Ireland will start at the same day as in England.

I fancy going down to Dublin on the 20th though. I suspect theres more than half a chance of the band showing so it'd be great to catch a glimpse and grab a few pics. Catherine Owens is confirmed to attend so hopefully the band follow suit. Can't wait for the movie either though.

I'd say there's a good chance. Well worth it I reckon if you can get there.

Be sure to post any pics
