1. Songs played until the end of the world seem to be:
    Streets,
    One,
    Beautiful Day,
    City of Blinding Lights,
    Vertigo,
    and potentially WOWY.

    +1

Add Still Haven't Found to that list.

Bullet may make a comeback too...

I'd be disappointed if Blinding Lights was dropped. It's a great live track; when that gets going, the crowd goes absolutely nuts. I know I did, anyway. But it needs to be re-done in the Vertigo Tour style - where it just builds up and up. The 360 version was kinda lame.

I would take Miracle Drug over BD any day, but I know that's a rare opinion among most fans. COBL was great on the Vertigo Tour, but I agree that it was kinda lame on 360. In fact, I found my mind wandering knowing that I had to live through the Crazy Remix...lol.
  5. COBL is an epic show opener. Even when it didn't open the show, the long intro it got still made it epic. The only gripe I had about the 360 version was the shortened intro. You need to draw that out as much as you possibly can to build up that momentum.
  6. agreed on COBL's intro being too short. I would personally LOVE Miracle Drug, but I'm not holding my breath for it... I have very little faith in the band playing songs from Behind/Bomb/Horizon that aren't singles. BUT I HOPE TO BE PROVEN WRONG.

Honestly, I can't imagine a setlist without Beautiful Day...Such a powerfull song that brought U2 back to what they wanted by that time.
  8. As much as I say I wouldn't miss it and it needs to go.....they gotta play it. It'd be weird as hell if they didn't.
  9. They should keep expanding the intro with more orchestral bits, and maybe the outtro, maybe a different breakdown or different lyrics in the middle eight? I'd be down for them changing it haha
  10. I'll admit, the "African-esque" intro that BD had in '09 when I saw them (I believe the snippet was called "Far Far Away") was damn encapsulating and drew me into the song....and the spaceman intro in '11 almost moved me to tears, when the astronaut said, "Tell my wife I love her very much.....she knows." And then Edge chimes in with the intro. They just know how to work that song.

What DIDN'T work for me was the Euro shows in '10, I think it was, where it was opening the show after Stingray. Nothing to it, just standard (lame?) performances. Give me some spice!
  11. Agreed, the 09 and 11 versions had amazing intros. I have no doubt they'll do something interesting with it next tour. I'd be down for it to be played at the end of the main set or in the encore to spice it up since it's usually in the first half of the show.

This would be fantastic. Or just a lead-in from another song, even....maybe RTSS?

That shimmering drone from the ZooTV version swelling around and around, crescendo, crescendo, crescendo!!! annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd -

it all cuts out as Edge plays the intro, and they close the main set.
