1. Don't know the chorus?! The chorus is so fantastic and uplifting.

    I'm more than you know,
    more than you see here
More than you let me be

    I'm more than you know
    A body and a soul
You don't see me but you will I am not, invisible
  2. That chorus is fantastic, especially now that we know the story behind the song.

Oh, yeah, I love it. But it's just not as effin' catchy as the "No them" parts haha. Similar as "Let me in the sound" vs. "Get on your boots, sexy boots" for me. I know a good few people who think GOYB's title is "Let me in the sound", for real.
  4. I can just picture it being played live

Bono: "There is no them" .... proceeds to point microphone to crowd

    Crowd: "There is no them"

Bono: "There's only us" .... points microphone to crowd again

    Crowd: "There's only us"
  5. Just listened to GOYB. I always liked the song but WOW what a difference. There isn't anything as single worthy as Invisible on NLOTH at. all.

sad but true. IMO North Star or Mercy would have been better lead singles.

  7. I'd have to hear a full band North Star to consider that, but that song was a little bit slow and not really "exciting" enough to be the lead single. Invisible is easy to sing to, and it's easy to dance to. North Star not so much (the dancing part). Also Mercy in the live format or the earlier one? I don't think the song will resurface ever again, and we also know it was a Bomb outtake so I wouldn't have been happy if it was the new single.

Invisible is so new and awesome, North Star and Mercy would've been a bit of a letdown for me.

Mercy in the live format, both are great though.

Invisible is definitely better than those two as far as lead singles go, but i'd say all 3 are better than Boots.
  9. We can agree there!

An amateur recording of Bono playing an out-of-tune ukelele would be a better lead single than GOYB.
  11. lol yeah whoever suggested that song be on the album needs to stay out of the studio for the upcoming album.
