1. Also, I really like the video for Miracle. It's been a while since U2 released a music video of them being a rock band.
  2. - FB-questions : sometimes funny, but nothing really interesting. A little concerned about Edge's quote about how difficult it is being in a band, but they just make it work. Like it's more for profession than for fun.

    - Music video : it's ok. Fresh. Nothing more.
  3. Interesting that album is expected to enter the charts in the UK at 4... Lowest in 30 years. Not bad considering it was free for a month.
  4. They can always count on The Netherlands

Album has become gold here in the first week, which means it has been sold at least 20.000 times. It also tops the album top 100.

From Boy on the Netherlands was the first outside Irekand and UK, who put U2 into their hearts. Still going strong after more than 30 years.

    My attempt:

    01 - The Miracle
    02 - Every Breaking Wave
    03 - California (acoustic version)
    04 - The Crystal Ballroom
    05 - Song For Someone
    06 - Iris
    07 - Volcano
    08 - Lucifer's Hands
    09 - Raised By Wolves
    10 - Invisible
11 - This Is Where You Can Reach Me Now
    12 - Sleep Like A Baby Tonight
    13 - Cedarwood Road
    14 - The Troubles

While waiting for U2.com to ship the deluxe version of the album to me, I've finally burnt an alternate version, just to be able to play it on the car and stuff. I've included Invisible and Ordinary Love since my gf loves them and she's the driver after all

    01 - The Miracle
    02 - California (acoustic version)
    03 - Song For Someone
    04 - Iris
    05 - Volcano
    06 - Lucifer's Hands
    07 - Raised By Wolves
08 - Sleep Like A Baby Tonight (personal mix with parts from the regular and the alternate versions)
    09 - Invisible
10 - This Is Where You Can Reach Me Now
    11 - Ordinary Love
    12 - Cedarwood Road
    13 - The Crystal Ballroom (12" mix)
14 - Every Breaking Wave (personal mix, starting as piano version and then going into electric full band)
    15 - The Troubles

And, I have to say, it's absolutely mindblowing this way. One of their best albums (if it was like that), no doubt. It flows well and it's an awesome collection of fantastic songs. Thematically and sonically homogeneous, lirically powerful... What else?

That mix for your car really makes it look like a Awesome album!!
  8. Nice set. Really well balanced, actually.
  9. I got the 2CD version yesterday, does any one how what the correct labelling of the album is: ie Son gs or Songs of Innocence? Itunes is telling me the disc 2 is the first, and disc 1 is the latter
  10. Thanks Alex and fastcars I really love it that way!

Hans... Where have you been hiding? Welcome back mate!
And the correct labelling is definitely "Songs of experience", the "Son gs" has been just a small manouver/wordplay to try and explain a little the controversial cover to the general customers. But the album is labelled and registered as Songs Of Innocence.
