1. Already got the chords down, I was craving to see what was happening in that strange melody change.

F#, E, B... for the verses. Then G, D, A, Bm for the choruses and most of the song actually. Once again, easy chords by themselves but a clever change that makes it sound more complicated than it is.
  2. Funky vibes. Hard to tell how much of it is actually U2 though. New stuff so yay.
  3. Jeez!

Already singing "yooouuuu're the best thing.." under my breath.
  4. Always good to wake up to new U2
  5. Better than The Crystal Ballroom they said.
  6. To avoid countless bootlegs. You think U2 will release it fairly soon?
  7. Also the beach clip is a different mix. Cause you can hear adams bass playing. Search U2 eze on YouTube. First video clearly a different mix
  8. after a few more listens I actually really like it. very catchy.
  9. Bootlegs ain't what they used to be. In this day and age, (an amateur recording of a remix of) a song surfacing earlier than official release shouldn't bother their record company much. They might shut down the first videos, just like they did with the Eze beach clips, but they can't stop the tide and if a new song hits the internet then it's out there forever. I don't think they'll change any release plans bc of this.
  10. I have a good feeling about September 7th - new iPhone release for Apple... They did say they planned to continue to work together when SOI was first released. Then again that may have changed due to all of the anger about the album being everywhere "without anyones permission" (which is why you're supposed to read the Terms and Conditions when you download iTunes I guess).

I feel like we will at least get this song on that date.
  11. I really doubt they'll be any U2 related news at the apple event -- they had their big Music rollout at WWDC earlier this year, and this event will be an uphill push for Tim Cook et al to roll out the iPhone 7. Never say never, but I seriously doubt it. Unless Bono happens to be randomly hanging out with Jony Ive that day.

Totally. Always with the crazy minor chord shifts these guys.
