Surprised everyone thinks Miracle is the opener - they tend to go with a rocker from the new album to open, but not the single (Zoo Station, Mofo, Elevation, Breathe, etc)...which is why my $ is on Volcano (plus, of course Bono would ham up the "you and I are rock and roll" ...anyway... my guess (my wish would be to have Zooropa in, but we know that was a once in a life treat

You definitely got a point there, dude. Well thought. I think Volcano and Miracle are the two obvious openers - it will be one of them or the other. I'd be surprised if they open with anything else.

Anyway, reforming the set with Volcano as an opener but keeping the whole album...

00 - The Ramones' I Wanna Be Sedated over the PA

    01 - Volcano / Glastonbury (longer section)
02 - California (There Is No End To Love)
    03 - The Fly
04 - This Is Where You Can Reach Me Now
    05 - Out Of Control
    06 - Mysterious Ways
    07 - I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For
08 - Iris (Hold Me Close)
    09 - Tomorrow
    10 - Raised By Wolves
    11 - Sunday Bloody Sunday
    12 - Cedarwood Road
    13 - Gone

I think California could be a good opener ...but it is too north amercian ...maybe they could change the first Califorinia to where they are playing like they did with Breathe changing the date of the first verse
  8. I was convinced Miracle would be the opener but the more I think of it the more I think Volcano works too. I listened to it on my walk home today and thought maybe a longer "You and I are rock and roll" would flow into the opening riff of Miracle.

I also just had a thought that This Is Where You Can Reach Me Now could be a good opener. The screen could have images of the band's inspirations as well as pictures of themselves at the beginning. "You can reach me on this stage now."
  9. I see many people here putting in the setlist songs by both SOI and the first three u2's albums, but I think that one thing excludes the other one. In my opinion, a large scale of songs from SOI means that we will listen to just a couple of early songs, just not to have a redundant setlist ( in terms of themes, inspirations etc...). It wouldn't make sense to have for example Iris and I will follow in the same setlist, it would be all about Bono's mother......
  10. They tend to pull heavily from a legacy album along with their current album (360 was of course for NLOTH, though played a bunch of ATYCLB songs, and later pretty much became a tour for Achtung Baby). And Vertigo (thankfully) resurrected a bunch of songs from Boy.

My gut says that NLOTH and HTDAAB will be almost entirely absent.... SO ...makes me think there may be a lot of Joshua Tree on this tour.

And in the way The Unforgettable Fire had a solid presence throughout 360 (with MLK and TUF being staples, Bad and Pride making repeat appearances) I imagine they may do the same with October, Zooropa, or even (hopefully) Pop (or even more madly hopefully Passengers! Slug / You're Blue Room / Always Forever Now all played back to back as a encore section? Ahhhhh...one can dream...and it will surely remain that).
