And both as title candidates, I believe. Spakenburg looked like a nice village in the documentary. Must be a nice place to live! There is a lot to do, I see. Very nice

Indeed...shown at the NOS. They're both amateurs:

    Eredivisie
    ------------
    1e Divisie
    ------------
Amateurs (Hoofdklasse A, B en C Zaterdag en Zondag) (Dus 6 hoofdklassen)

Within 2 years, the Topklasse will come, with 3 Topklasse's beneath the 1e Divisie. Our clubs will join that Klasse too.

(Weird to type Dutch and English together lol)

My team, O.D.C. Boxtel, play in the 3de Klasse. They played 2de Klasse 3 years ago, but now they're just an average team in the 3de Klasse... They became 5th last this season.

It's great if your clubs will join the Topklasse: they can promote to the 1e Divisie, can't they?
Which of the Spakenburgse clubs is your personal favorite, or do you like them all?

(It's indeed weird to type Dutch and English together )
  3. I pikeyed these from wikipedia.

I'm not gonna lie to you guys, its a crap hole.

Barnsley looks nice Dan. Why is it a crap hole? Is there nothing to do or is it all industrial? It looks like a nice quiet town. Would like to live there, according to the pictures

IJsselmeervogels...been a fan of them since birth. It's more or less a born habit. They were champions for the last 3 years, but this year Spakenburg won the title.

And yes, they can promote if they want to. Sounds cool to me.
Eemdijk, the other club, plays in the 2e klasse, kinda familiar to Boxtel I think.
  6. Well, for starters, here's a couple of pics of my little country village of East Harling, in darkest Norfolk...

This is our village green - the lamb on the big stick is a commemoration of our status as having one of the biggest lamb markets in the UK back in the day (although I just made it sound like a perverse kind of artistic kebab...)

This is (funnily enough!) our church - it's an easy landmark to find on the net considering I can't really find much else...

And NOW for Norwich, 'cause I can find some more interesting ones!

That's the forum, near the centre of Norwich, where the BBC has its Norwich office and studio and a big public library and so on and so forth...

...and this is a decent pic of Norwich Castle nearby where, up until Friday, me and my friends would go to chill out and relax during free periods at 6th form (in the Castle Gardens)

And now the ones you've all been waiting for !

Carrow Road! Home of the (sometimes) mighty Norwich City! This is the most up-to-date aerial pic I could find...

...and this is a fairly up-to-date pre-match pic from inside the stadium late last year before our match against Preston North End.
  7. Seems cool Harry. We don't have such castles and stuff unfortunately.
  8. Hey!
    Great pics everyone!

And you've seen pics from where I live but I thought that maybe som people are intrested in seeing pictures from Gothenburg, the second biggest city in Sweden that is a neighbour city to me (okay, it takes an hour to get there)

    EDIT:

    I almost forgot!
Ullevi Stadium! Were I saw U2 perform in 2005 And will hopefully see them again.

Have seen some fotball and athletic games there to

it's not the place as such.

it's the people who inhabit it.

I think I chose pictures of the best two areas, to be fair. haha

  11. Heres some pics at a local beach in my town:

Well, the next town over, but close enough.
  12. Montréeal Québec, where we had 196cm of snow this winter

their it is .... (with the olympic stadium in the background)

The Bell center ... where ALex Kovalevs plays

The St-Helene Island, homme of the old oudoor olympick installation and of the formula One grand prix, you also see the ''biosphere'' in the background where the US hand their pavillon in the MOntréal Expo67.
