  1. Congrats to Ivan Klasnic. Great match.

    If our team wants to defeat Portugal they'll have to improve. It was good enough for Austria, though. One moment of genius by Ballack was enough today. Lahm played a great match once again. Fritz and Friedrich were great in defense. Gomez was completely off, much worse than in the national league. I hope they'll have Kuranyi play against Portugal, it can only get better.

    Definitely, Gomez has been shocking to be truthful. You can't doubt the lad's talent, he was a big part in helping Stuttgart win the title the season before last and he's not highly-rated for nothing, but he's been awful so far. I think it's those Puma boots he's wearing...

    Not true..Marco will rest De Jong and Ooijer because they both have a yellow-card on their name. He might leave out 2 or 3 players more, but they surely won't let Rumania win the game. That's bollocks. We're in good shape now, it would be dumb to throw that away by loosing.

    And the matches of tonight were boring... Germany went trough but I doubt if they will make it against Portugal if they play like this.

    I almost cried when he scored...his story is just amazing and so inspiring. As you could see, all players ran to him to congratulate him and celebrate because they know what he's been trough and what this goal means to him.

  10. I guess most everyone outside of Italy and France would.

    Most people outside Germany don't like the German football team either. I admit I have some understanding for this attitude. But my heart is where it is.

    Sorry Romania. Not good enough today.

    I'm still quite impressed by the Netherlands, even if they didn't showcase their full potential today.
