Actually it is about if he is almighty or not, that's what the churches tell us.

What about the free will of a new born child that dies? Did it decide to die?
What abeout natural disasters? Were they all caused by humans (including the big flood)?

Seems you really want to discredit religon

True...some folks are way too fanatic. There is a borderline. If people are open to discuss it, like here, it's okay. I'm not forcing my faith here, I know some or most don't want me to do that. So I don't. But if people are open to it, you can discuss what you want. But don't force it. Charles the Great did it...he wasn't a great king in that way

so basically...there are extremists that force their views on others to gain power and rule over others.....so if the religion were to eradicate and denounce such extremists, these extremists would have a lost cause?

I've read your posts. It's just, they don't make sense. They still don't solve that Theodicy problem.

I never believed. Luckily, my parents didn't push me to any religion, I was never baptised and don't plan to be.

Allright, to each their own. Evolution doesn't make sense to me, God doesn't make sense to you. I can live with that and I bet you can too.

I'll admit that I think Religion is an evil thing. Individual faith is something different, but organized religions, especially proselytizing religions are dangerous.
    Nevertheless, it's pretty fascinating.

They do...there in the bible too, the Pharisees, they were called. They thought they were doing the right job, Jesus several times they didn't.

You think they haven't tried that? The problem is, when people reach such heights of extremism and fanaticism, they're not willing to listen to anyone, hence why you have people who claim to be Muslim, and yet despite being criticised and rejected by the majority of their religion, they carry on what they see as their cause. They don't see it as a lost cause, unfortunately.

Indeed mate - I may not agree with you or your opinions, but I'll damn well fight for you to have that right (quoting a bit of Voltaire there)

Of course I can. As you said, to each their own - as long as people are not trying to tell me I'll go to hell, that they'll pray for me or tell me that they're better/chosen people.
