    See you Kareem mate

the first legs of the vertigo shows were pretty similar, SYCMIOYO, LOPOE,SBS,BTBS, RTSS (miss sarajevo change) Pride, streets, one. this was played almost all the time in that orderat the end of the main set. Elevation did very the order of songs
  2. Listening to the crappy 1993-05-09 Rotterdam recording....

Zoo TV is always good.....but this recording isnt so good

didnt the band think the Elevation Tour would be their last? I remember reading about that somewhere........
  4. I missed Jeremy's BRT pick because of revision for my A-levels, but I might give it a go soon enough

Ha, you and ISHFWILF, pretty much as bad as I am a sucker for WGRYWH lol...

I was more mentioning the opening section of the set up until SYCMIOYO. Obviously, the political section of the set was a staple part of the tour (apart from some 1st leg shows where the orders were all changed around or if LAPOE was used as the show opener) so it was unlikely to change, just as Elevation always opened with Elevation, Beautiful Day and UTEOTW. I'm not complaining on either, I just think that, as far as variety of sets go, Vertigo wins hands down lol.

although you gotta admit U2 were closer to their fans on the Elevation Tour...

this is kinda Indoor Intimacy against Outdoor Rocking as far as types of shows come. It depends on what you prefer. However, when Elevation was brought outside....there was this one show that highlighted the tour.......
  11. I like to think of it as Slane against Buenos Aires as far as best of's come......

    I'd take Slane anyday
