Just don't close with it as well.

it was a decent closer to tho with all that red and what not. They hit a bit of a dilema with when to play it. It was a good opener but didnt have the desired effect because of the daylight. If they played it later theyd have no opener so they played it twice. Not brilliant but sure. . . . Shoulda opened with The Electric Co.
  3. My review of:
    2005-06-21 - Glasgow, Scotland - Hampden Park

    Sound

From reading Aussie's review, I don't think he liked it................. however, I have to disagree with him. This boot diserves easily 4.5 stars... maybe even 5. I didn't hear any hiss, or anything like that.

    Performance

Vertigo - Something happened to Edge's guitar around 2:03 (just like our last BRT)

The Electric Co. - Didn't have the Cry in the beginning

Elevation - Larry was on fire

Zoo Station - Edge sounded a bit distant, but Larry made up for it

The Fly - An awsome performance worth mentioning...... I think its eaqual to the Chicago DVD

    Highlights

    Electric performance of WGRYWH

a second Vertigo was played, witch makes up for the first one, where as I said before, something happened to Edge's guitar.

    Lowlights

    Pride was played

    Overall

    6/10

I love this boot. I've listened to it a lot sence I've downloaded it. easily 9/10........ 10/10 when I'm in the right mood
  4. Ten out of ten for a Vertigo show? Man you gotta download some more bootlegs.

9 out of 10 is massive praise for a (in my opinion) average at best gig.

Tis all about opinions though mate . I'm more sided with Nick than Aussie as far as the latest reviews have gone, although, even though I like this boot (no surprise there, you'll all probably think ) not even I would go 10/10 - that's Slane or Stockholm '92 category (and in your case, Brussels). I think 7/10 isn't unreasonable, personally

    Review coming up later tonight

I thought Slane and Stockholm were 15/10?

    You're thinking outside the limits

then again wouldnt Slane be higher than Stockholm? I mean with Bono's dad and all, the emotions in that show plus that its in Dublin.

So Maybe Slane is 15/10, Stockholm 10/10.

Who says there were rating limits?

Well, I'm just being practical lol. Both are great shows, but like I said a day or so ago, Slane is U2 at their best, Stockholm is ZooTV at its finest - slightly different categories to consider

Zoo TV at its finest in 1992, as for the first two legs. You've forgetten about the outdoor broadcasts again...(which neither of us like, considering Wild Horses was gone and Still Haven't Found didnt close so much anymore).
