I've never quite understood that 'bonus' track either.

I did hear stuff I'd never heard before. Not comparing to a FLAC or MP3 rip, but both straight from the CDs, and even Out of Control sounded really clear and pristine. Regarding that "bonus track" of 30 seconds, it's meant to be a very early riff of Fire. Some releases (not the original Australian one) don't have it, whereas some UK / European and a few US ones have - similar to the end of The Wanderer with the "dead silence".

But I'm getting both the October and War remasters tomorrow - just the single discs. I don't need live tracks or three bonus songs which I will never listen to. In our local paper (Adelaide Advertiser), there is a music review section and the three remasters were reviewed - they got 4/5 for the single discs alone, and even that review says TUF should be with us soon.

Not sure whether it's the same song, but Speed of Life appears to be played six times - you might wanna edit it in the songs page:

I definitely want a Pop remaster next after Unforgettable Fire.
  8. Just got mine! I've only listened to the Boy bonus disc so far. I love Things To Make And Do and Speed of Life. Is it just me, or do Saturday Night and Fire have A LOT in common? haha. I think they basically took the music from Saturday Night and put better lyrics in for the October album. Because the guitar riff is truly awesome in that song. The live tracks are cool too. Now onto October!

I think I'm looking forward to that remaster the most. The texture and ambience of those particular songs will be great to hear digitally remastered.

Looking forward to the extra live material. I hope some cracking Bad or ASOH will appear.

I expect, as most people have said here, we'll probably get the WAIA tracks for the bonus live tracks. Not the best versions of each song, IMHO, but still good nonetheless.
