Fireglo is a cool finish but not so rare. The amber fireglo is a bit more like Edge's. I think that was the 2007 finish of the year... I'd have to double check that...

But the three main finishes are mapleglo, jetglo (black) and fireglo... then they have a "finish of the year". My burgundyglo was the 2002 FOTY.

true that. But the newer one's are different than the older ones (edges) The older one's were more red and yellow and orange, as the new ones are more of a red to white sort of colour.

indeed, If I ever buy one, I'd try getting an older, used one

Me too! I have to admit, I wasn't a big fan of mapleglo but after staring at Edge's for 10+ shows... I began to love it.

Exactly, I loved it that much
  7. Squier Bullets and Affinitys are cheap chinese guitars made for beginners, made from cheap parts. I don't like their slim bodies and weak pickups. But if you like a slim body and upgrade the pickups, you may want to get yourself one.

Indonesian Squier Standard Strats are another class. These are IMHO really nice guitars, very different than MIM Strats: Alnico Pickups, 22 frets, 2-point trem. Only drawback is the cheap Agathis wood - but there are a lot of worse alder bodys out there. Personally I'd prefer a stock Squier Standard Strat over a stock MIM. Not because it's really better, but because the specifications suit my taste more. The new Squier Deluxe Strats are said to have fantastic necks. I need to play one some day.

My brother left his 12 string laying in the computer room so I decided to make some clips with it. I know Edge doesn't use a 12-string for these songs, but whatever, it sounds nice.

Don't be too critical about my voice, I only get to practice when no one else is home!
I like Staring a lot I also made a cover of it, but messed up the small solo (the fingerpicking Edge does live) before the "intransigence" part, so I trashed the cover. I'm likely to record something soon, maybe you'll hear me in a few days
  9. By the way, did Bono play the Staring At The Sun chords (Am, G, F, E, etc) on the live performances of the song?? It's hard to believe, since they're played quite good all throughout the song

Yeah, the main chords for verses etc. are Am, G, F, Em

Not entirely sure what you meant about Bono but no worries lol

Hey thanks man! Yea i messed up the last chorus. I just totally lost what I was doing and forgot the chords
  12. So a rick 12 string off that site is like 1850.00$ That's alright I guess, it's not THAT much greater, but a couple hundred is better than nothing. It's still too much dough for one guitar though.
