  1. A whole lot of taper-friendly bands and artists can be found here (including a few of my favorites):

    All shows are lossless by default, with many of them encoded to either a low constant bitrate mp3 or a VBR mp3 (for streaming, or downloading, for those of you who can't download the huge lossless files).
