Haha, yes, just a friendly reminder as to who the FotM is....

Well, I moved down here to pursue a career in the film industry, and I've gotten a lot of good experiences, but I'm thinking that I want a little bit more stability, and I'm getting older, thinking about starting a family, etc.....plus the whole Hollywood scene isn't my thing at all. (I sound like a bitter person who is just upset with the fact that he didn't "make it", don't I?)

All hail Jeremy, FotM extraordinaire! (although, which is a better title - Fan of the Month or King of the MultiQuote? ). Nah, not bitter at all, just someone who's given something a go, and found that it's not really meant for him. That's how I read it

I'm thinking that I'd really love to teach at a university someday, teaching writing and film classes. Sadly, I once had the attitude of "If you know so much about the film business and writing, how come you're not out there doing it and are stuck in the classroom teaching" towards my teachers. Now it will come back to haunt me....

lol, everyone makes mistakes mate, everyone says things that they regret, but better to meet them head on and let them bother you no more than to try and avoid them, I say . Sounds like a good plan to me though. At this stage in life, I sure wouldn't want to be a teacher but that's me, I'm not really sure what I really want to do as a career. Hence why I'm going to Uni.
  5. How does it work over there in the East of England? Do you have to choose a focus or a major at a certain point? Can you just do general studies for a while?

Erm, to be honest I'm not entirely sure. All I know is that I start on 22nd, and see how it goes from there lol! I'll let you know more when I know myself...I'm just the kinda person who (for better or worse) wings through life...

  7. Not really a bad thing. That makes life more interesting lol....

    Hey guys
  8. Meh, you'll be fine, Harry.

    And hello there Nate!
