  1. I still don't understand why some people really need a gun. I don't think it makes you feel safe at all. If anyone can carry a gun then I wouldn't feel safe, even if I had one myself.

    Having a gun might be 'cool' in some cultures, but it's just making trouble.

    You did gave your opinion, and a good one too, but the posts Sergio quoted were quite meaningless. And such posts can kill a good discussion, which it evolved too. We (at least me) do care about your opinion, but those quoted posts weren't really necesssary, right?

    that 'excuse me' was for vanquish as he said that a government killing 3000 citizens is something that would never happen in the US, but he said these things happen if Africa, Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe. And if we look at Europe just as Western and Eastern, I live in the Eastern part. And hell, no, we're not animals, no government would kill 3000 citizens just to start some war etc. Dunno if he has noticed but Stalin died a couple of years ago

    It's a bit anti-american, but I do agree with you. Say no to guns!

    BTW It could just be me, but the only people on this forum who want guns to be legal are (Republican) Americans, right?

    Typically it is Republicans who are for guns. But I'm sure there are some Democrats who are against gun control

  8. I doubt it will ever happen. I'm a life long democrat. I voted McCain, just because, I hated the mesiah. Just becasue maybe one out of every hundread or so people who buy a gun might use it for something stupid, doesent mean they will.
