1. We're a few days close to a MP3 link of the new single "Get On Your Boots", and the new album and a new tour are also close. I'm getting much more in the U2 mood any day it's coming closer, listening to live shows, even listened to the whole HTDAAB album yesterday.

What about you guys? Anyone listening more or on another way to U2 these days?

Well..I'm not 'more' in the mood, but I still listen to U2 every day though. I also listened to HTDAAB yesterday, realising how much I liked it when I first heard and how much I dislike it now (not all the songs though). It just doesn't grab me...I also listened to AB quite a lot, hoping NLOTH might be somewhat the same.
  3. Even though I bought two non-U2 CDs just last week, I find myself still listening to a lot of U2 as is always the case. A different bootleg each day (from various tours) and a lot of remaster listening (Boy-War including bonus discs) and TUF. I really can't help it. It's an exciting time! I think I'll start listening to more recent albums as the date draws closer.
  4. I can't get the Breathe and Magnificient beach clips out of my head. I always have the melodies on my mind.

my first waiting for a U2 album

  5. I keep myself away from all that, want to hear the final versions!

  6. Absolutely. I don't want to be tainted..lol.

When did that come about...the MP3 link of the new single?

I've started my U2 listening days. Every album from Boy to Bomb. So far just Boy, and now October.
  8. I'm listening to AB and PopMart Leeds a lot lately. Not for a reason, just because it's good music But I'm absolutely ready for an exciting period

BTW Is the link to the new single not official stuff?
  9. I'm actually finding myself listening to a lot of non-U2 stuff at the moment just to freshen myself up, as it were. I always find time to listen to any of their material but in recent weeks I've been checking out different artists aswell as other favourite bands of mine just to change the musical scenery for a bit. I've been working on an ultimate playlist of sorts where U2 are concerned and have been listening to the various B-sides and unreleased material in my collection - definitely looking forward to March though

EDIT - I did start going through a couple of albums the other day (October and HTDAAB), no particular reason though.
  10. Not much really...I am in an excited mood for a new album, but as the missus (sounding like gerard here!) isn't much into U2 (or into any not-Persian rock for that matter), I haven't been listening to much U2 lately, and I've lost interest...let's see if the new album will convince her!
  11. I'm not in the mood at all. Got all excited about the Van Diemen's Land performance and it was a huge let down so I don't know what to feel. No excitement or anticipation at all sadly. Just too long waiting and worrying that it's gonna be the same old under par U2 of This decade. Hope not . . .

Have faith Gerard! Each decade had a classic U2-album, so this should be this decade's classic...
