    I think the first one looks great . With some small tweaks, I think it will look better than the official one. And it certainly makes a lot more sense, seeing as it actually shows 'no line on the horizon'

    Perhaps even as good as Casper's original, which remains the best cover.
    That font gave it a touch of liveliness the others (including the official one) don't have.

    There appears to be a line on the horizon (that is, "when I look at the world,") but there isn't.

    Great cover, IMO.

    Why not just have a white background with the text in the right-hand corner?
  5. using a picture of the sky and sea was the obvious choice, which is probably why I'm not that much impressed. that put aside, I think the cover is something to look at for a longer while, it gives me some sort of peaceful feeling because the colours are soothing and the sea and sky are both calm. but then again, I don't quite get why we can see a line on the horizon, when the album's named no line on the horizon.. hmm.

    however, it won't be one of those covers that catch your attention when you browse through the stuff at your music store (at least I'd go past it).

  6. I still don't like Caspers one as much as the original. The original is just better.... there IS a line on the horizon, other than the title suggest. I think that's cool. And indeed no text on it. Just this. Perfect.

    That's the intention. So is this the special cover McG was rattling on about?

    I immediately thought about Pink Floyd when I saw this. Something basic, yet thoughtful.

    Who knows what the effect will be of listening to the album while staring at the cover.

    You're not the only one, staring at the cover, happy to see a horizon.

    After seeing all the old conceptual ideas for Pop and Achtung Baby, this made me wonder if they've already thrown away numerous ideas.

    I think what good 'ol Paul meant by that wasn't what was gonna be on the cover ...etc... there was thing from Bono in Q I think, he said he was browsing through iTunes and stuff, and just had an idea to have this interactive thing with the album blah blah... I think that's what it is. Some software on the CD maybe...
  12. remembering what mcg said.. maybe it'll be some sort of hologramm (I have no clue what these things are called, but we've all seen it before, I guess), so when you move the cover, the line on the horizon disappears.
