1. If anyone wants to know whcih font is used in the artwork, it's Subito (Black). I tried to grab it somewhere but I can't find it though.

And with the artwork, I mean this sign:

    U
    =
    2
  2. I love the cover

    Thanks... I will look
  4. Bono told that the title is inspired by the view he gets from looking through his study window in Killiney (Dublin). Some days he couldn't see where the see stopped and where the sky started. It looked as if there was NO LINE ON THE HORIZON. The artwork is a made by Japanese artist Hiroshi Sugimoto and was explained as "where heaven meets the sea".
  5. I agree with whoever said, that the cover would look better without the equal signs and just a pic of the invisible horizon. People are going to pick that up and go 'wow' because they haven't seen the phenomena before.

While I think the cover is much better than the previous two (in terms of being interesting), I think it is a bit too serious and austere to represent the album properly.

Yep, because the album is full of uplifting funny lyrics and easy listening pop music.
  7. I should definitely either use more smileys or add a big SARCASM to each of my posts.

  8. for a second i thought this was spam....then i saw the word sarcasm and had myself a good chuckle

so these new clips sound cool....distorted guitar and face pace music....AWESOMEEEE

i'm really looking forward to monday morning now

  9. Why does everyone take my words out of context, or exaggerate their meaning.

I mean to say while a good deal of the album may indeed be serious songs like Crazy Tonight, GOYB etc. probably aren't and so the cover should have at least a hint of the liveliness present in these songs.

It's epic and I think it totally fits the songs, after hearing that 30s-snippet of NLOTH. Too bad there are two blocks in the middle, but I guess Bono had a certain thought of it...And No Line On The Horizon means of course: Sea=Sky, the moment where these two worlds come together.

And it makes me think of Forth by The Verve:

Incredible, best cover since Achtung Baby.
  11. Monday morning
    Almost five years of dawning
    I say how long
    I say how long

    It was one dull morning
    Woke the world with bawling
    I was so glad
    They were so glad

I was of a feeling it was out of control
I had the opinion it was out of control

    Irish rockstars
Go to the studio and those
    make records
    not like this one

I was of a feeling it was out of control
I had the opinion it was out of control

I was of a feeling it was out of control
I had the opinion it was out of control

    Out of control
    Out of control
    Out of control
    Out of control

I was of a feeling it was out of control
I had the opinion it was out of control
