  2. I don't like the feel of things regarding the new album and prospective tour, it all feels a little rushed.

    I hope we are not going to have a repeat of the Popmart fiasco whereby the tour was rushed , the band underrehearsed etc... purely to appease the record company and meet their financial targets for a particular quarter.

    they delayed the album for almost 4 months, so that they wouldn't rush things...

    The album is not rushed, they took their time. However there seem to be some slight 'screw ups'.
    The covers of the single and album are not very original and now they made a mistake in the clip. But if you look at it it can happen to everyone.

    We are U2 fans so we have seen the leaked clip, but 99% percent of the people didnt even know the clip was about to be released today. Tomorrow might happen the same thing to another band or artist, and we won't know about it.

    But i have to agree they made some stupid mistakes. But if the music is good i can live with that


  6. When they have agreements with every venue. Believe me, there are already deals made. But not every spot in the calender has been filled. Please look in other topics. There are several rumours which might be true.
  7. i missed the video cause it was sleep time in Aus, what the hell happened i expected to wake to a new video now im getting nothing, talk about anti-climax, im hell pissed. R there any links to download the video, i want to see it so badly??????

    According to Gerard, you didn't miss much. I saw the first few seconds on that now-expired youtube clip, but it didn't do it any justice not having sound so I stopped watching. I'll wait for a proper video.

    there are two download links a few pages back. One is Polish, the other one just a RS-link.

    I think Universal is glad to have U2 in the house. If one side can make demands, it's U2 I think.
