1. What happened to the other cover, without a picture of the band?
    what was that, a fake?

  2. no. It was the cover of thr promo cd. Wrong topic
  3. I went from "meh" to "I don't think I like it" to "I kinda like it" to "I like it a lot" to "meh". Now I like it again.
  4. Every time I hear it (and I must have heard it a good twenty times or so now), I keep thinking "let THIS be the listen where it all comes together", but I still seem to be stuck on the same level of "meh"-ness as I was the first time I heard it. Damn.....

    Roll on the album, PLEASE.....

Same here, the song isn't greater than the sum of its parts.
  6. you don't know how beautiful you are

nice rythm in this line, however:

why is beautiful THE ever returning word in Bono's current lyrics, it starts to sound to cheesy

That's the biggest problem with the song, it's a throwback to HTDAAB and the lyrics of songs such as COBL etc.

AB material like Zoo Station never had this kind of naive earnestness, which holds this song back.
  9. OR we have a beatiful (:+) encore with COBL, GOYB and BD...
  10. We can either look forward to a way below U2-average album, or the band really needs to learn what song to pick as its main single, trying to promote the album. This is not going to be well received by the masses, and is definitely not what should be chosen as a first single.

Myself, I find it experimental, different, and mediocre (3/5). Seeing as this is in fact the lead single of the album, I'm very disappointed. All I hope is that the rest of the album will be a lot better, while all I fear is that we're facing a new October (quality-wise – not musically).
