    It's just what U2 has been about since ever.

    The video is coming up, and everyone gets excited. Then video comes, and then we get:
    a) oh fuck, there's band in it (!!)
    b) oh fuck, there's white wrist band on singers arm (!!!)
    c) oh fuck, there's poor African people in it, poor African people tend to fuck up our bootlegs
    d) oh fuck, beach clip was better
    e) oh fuck, my brother burned my pajamas.



    Can't you people just enjoy in something? Have you ever tried to write some good lyrics or music? If you did, then you'd probably know it's damn hard. And they're still damn good at it.

  2. I'm just not going to give them a free pass just because they're U2, that's all. As I said, I liked certain parts of the video, but the One campaign bracelets seemed very forced. And I'm not apologizing for having a differing opinion.

  8. It's a fans job to be critical I think. If you can't find a fault with aything in regards to U2 then you are a tit. Could be offensive to some but i'm confident that theres nobody here thats so obsessed that they cant fault them.

    I'd very much like this to have been a video with no reference to Bono's extra curricular activities. Just show the band doing what they do with some fancy backgrounds. The ONE stuff is just Bono again trying to promote his other work (all good causes obviously) but it would be soooooooo nice to see him do something 100% focused on the band. GThis video isn't that. I wait. . . .
