1. Omg... Fez footage sounds awesome.

  2. Just listen, you've already listened to the beach clips anyway.

It gives you something to think about, while you wait for the album release anyway.

  3. Yeah, the electro bit at the end reminds me of the music from the Bourne movies.

So the second Get On Your Boots version on the single is a punk version, most likely. And now we know what the second video might be.
  5. Oh here in Holland we only have NLOTH - 2

Do you mean the alternate version of NLOTH?

And when is the single being released anyway? Wasn't it delayed?
Anyone know the earliest date any country gets it?

February 15 for Australia; and you'll be getting No Line On The Horizon 2 (alternate) and the Punk Version of Get On Your Boots (alternate).

Still, I was hoping for something non-alternate like Every Breaking Wave or Tripoli, or as some sites are reporting, The Mirage.
  8. NLOTH
Acrobat mixed with COBL...great tune already

    Magnificent
Makes me think of Streets, COBL, etc. Which is a thumbs up

    MOS
Sounded a lot like the opening to Please...Again a positive, altough I hope there are some twists in it.

    Unknown Caller
Could've been on Passengers, made me think of Always Forever Now. And since I like that song...

    Crazy Tonight
Cool song. Ultraviolet mixed with Acrobat.

    GOYB
    Love it.

    SUC
Best clip. Didn't sound like anything they've done before.

    Fez - Being Born
I love electronics, but I couldn't get a lot out of it. Did hear some morrocan influences tough.

    White As Snow
Probably the twenty couplets Bono couldn't fit in One Step Closer...Nice clip tough

    Breathe
Sounded familiar, tough very new...Possibly the 'OOTS' of this album.

    Cedars Of Lebanon
'If you wear that cedar of lebanon'

Err, I agree with your thoughts on SUC and Cedars Of Lebanon.

But Crazy Tonight is Acrobat mixed with Ultraviolet? Yeah called it out as a ATYCLB hybrid.

And NLOTH doesn't have much Acrobat in it from that clip, strong Morrocan influences though.

Unknown Caller is not really Passengers style either I'm afraid, it's a red herring that clip. It's like Zooropa or something where the beginning of the song and the ending are completely different.
The part you heard in the clip is the extended intro, so don't get overexcited and think they're doing passengers on Unknown Caller.

I heard at least UV-ish riffs in Crazy Tonight...and since UV and Acrobat sound alot alike imo...

Okay, I also heard morrocan influences in NLOTH, but the overall feel was an Acrobat-ish riff...
But it also has something Walk On-ish over it...

And why couldn't Unknow Caller be a Passengers-ish song?
And second of all: how do you know it's the extended intro?
And third: Zooropa and Passengers sound a lot the same...

But in the end everyone might hear something different in it.
  11. Nice clips, just listened to them (and glad to have missed the 'OMG-party' here).
Some songs remind me to Snow Patrol and it's a more smooth production, it seems. I don't agree with Gerard about his Bomb-outtakes comment. I think, based on these 30-sec clips, that the overall sound is much different compared to Bomb.

Clips I most liked were Magnificent, White As Snow, Unknown Caller, Breathe, Fez/Being Born and NLOTH.

I won't put up a review...I need to hear the entire album first. Anyway, I'm not disappointed.
