'because we all know in our minds' is lovely

  2. His singing IS lovely (I am shocked that people would suggest otherwise), so lovely in fact, they should change Bono's nickname to Aurum Vox. As it seems everything he sings is gold.....
  3. Does Bono still smoke? i didnt know this, what a dumb fuk, not only is it bad for hes voice, its bad for hes entire well being and just doesnt seem to fit the image of someone who is "trying to save the world"

It's just you, Bono was fantastic then.

I listened only to Crazy (30 sec snippet) and I thought...maaaaan, he's back.

I would agree that lack of technique burned his voice a little bit, because without cigarettes he would never have voice to sing SYCMIOYO or Miss Sarajevo.

  5. On Topic please ladies and gentelmen

I must agree with Gerard, Happy Birthday was quite good.
And do we forget his vocals on the final leg of Vertigo? Elevation sucked vocally and Bono is able to recover. It was the first performance of GOYB, don't blame him. They need to practice it.

And the vocals on the WAS-clip aren't bad either. It's a slow ballad, slowly sung. I think it fits with the mood.

    Thanks Casper

  8. Yeah...excuse moi. That's what you get with browsing this place at work.

    On-topic:
Boots was decent, will kick ass after some more practice

No, it was on-topic, I was thanking you sincerely

I agree with you completely by the way. I think the concept of how it was done was great. With some more vocal practice and a better mix, it will kick ass.
  10. Hmm...am I the only one who likes his voice nowadays?
The singing on the album version of GOYB is brilliant. Might be his best voice ever.
And to me it wasn't really Bono who fucked up on the Grammy's, but, after a few listens, I dare to say it were Edge's backing vocals which sounded not so good.
The end of the first chorus: It's all Edge. But not positive.
'Let me in the sound': Edge sings this, right? Not cool

    But it'll improve

Great job, thank you very much! Sounds great!
