  3. hey, im just wondering is it really difficult to get tickets? im planning on going to the hampden date. i'll be taking the day off school to get the tickets online, so basically how long do you reckon it will take to sell-out? im a complete beginner in terms of getting tickets online so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Not sure about Scotland but 2 nights at croker park (160,00 tickets) sold out in 52 minutes last time around.

    If you plan on queueing up it might be worth it to phone from the queue to try and get tickets that way aswell

    What is the speediest way to get guaranteed ticket? Is there a store to buy them in? I tried online with bruce springsteen but they put me in an annoying waiting room and I never got tickets

    only guarantee is to be at the very front of the queue. For me that means queuing up for 48 hours minimum which i'll have to do if the pre-sale doesn't work. I'll also have the missus at home trying to nab some online

  9. First…the good news: a source close to the tour has confirmed to @U2 that tickets for the European tour dates will go on sale March 14 and the tickets for the North American dates will go on sale in April.

    Now the bad news: the source also tells @U2 that Live Nation has been in talks with ticket reseller StubHub for some sort of role on the North American tour dates, as well as in talks with Viagogo for the European tour dates.

    Now the ugly news: if you thought Ticketmaster sending folks to TicketsNow.com was a bad move, imagine how fans will feel about Live Nation partnering with the likes of StubHub or Viagogo.
