  1. How come these 4 fools always pick the worst songs on their albums to be the singles?
    For examply Get Yout Boots On is easily one of their worst songs ever, and yet the 4 fools pick this song to play on shows? Look at the U2start poll and you see even diehard U2 fans hate the song, especially compared to other sings.

    Then the second song they pick to play is Breathe! This is not garbage song and the polls show it also! Why the 4 fools don't pick their best stuff? Moment of Surrender is one of their best songs and I bet the fools won't make it a single or even play it in concert. Remember, Kite was not even played on Elevation until the outcry was big from fans.

    I am sick of these fools picking junk like Elevation to be their singles when they have ten times better material like When L Look At the World!

    PLAY YOUR BEST STUFF, YOU FOUR FOOLS! Otherwise, people like me will forget about you. and by the looks of most fan reviews of NLOTH many of us are going to forget about U2

  3. They are always playing save with singles, especially since Pop. I think Magnificent would've been a 10x better single. But U2 is not stupid, they have their reasons.

    BTW. Elevation rocks Especially 'Elevation Tour' live versions

  5. I don't even think it is playing it safe. It would be playing it safe if the songs were good but they stink. I mean, if I did not spend the effort to go and see the other songs on the album, I would think U2 suck based on these pathetic singles. GOYB is such garbage that it makes me mad they even put this on the album but they play it on all the shows! Even the radio play in the USA is minimal because the song stinks. Now if they put out Moment of Surrender, Fez,.. more people would see how good U2 are. If they continue to play this GYOB garbage and Breathe junk then they will spiral into even more irrelavance.


    There was a time when you would not catch U2 dead on morning TV or Letterman and now the 4 fools are forced to do these shows because they know the singles stink are not getting airplay

    First and for all, Breathe is really no junk to me !!!

    Nevertheless, i guess you're right GOYB isn't a good song...

    But if you listen to the album, you must notice that there aren't a lot SINGLES on the album
    (so kinda popular, singable, energetic songs)
    Except GOYB and Crazy Tonight...

    I think they just had to put this on the album to HAVE singles...

    To proove i'm right :
    Everyone thinks Moment Of Surrender is one of the best U2-songs
    But you just CAN'T make a 7-minute single,
    Then they would be complete fools

  12. They could cut Moment Surrender Down for a single like they have done with other songs.
    What's the point of having junk songs as singles if it gets no airplay because they are junk?

    We know they are doing this massive TV promotion because they know GOYB has not been received well by fans and radio. I have no doubt Breathe will also be a failure.
    If you want people to have some interest in you, then play the new "radical" stuff you are writing not these sub par U2 rip offs of their old stuff
