1. I quite like that (if you mean the no line towards the end). It reminds me of how it would be live; not too polished.

its a great track, but it really sounds like kol.

Is it me or does the "new" Kings of Leon album sound like a rip-off of U2? I guess they had to go that route to get into the mainstream.

My brother said the same when hearing the very first notes of NLOTH (the song). They surely were of big influence to each other but I don't see either of them as copycats.

me neither.why would u2 want to copy anybody elses work.or kol for that matter.

who knows maybe they "borrowed" the melody when they were touring together back in 2005.

  6. I thought this song was utter crap when I heard the b-side version a week or so ago - tired guitar, lame lyrics, wanna-be punk energy - lazy rhythm section... anyway, I was just watching the Culture Show on youtube and they play the song in its entirety and wonder of wonders, I liked it. It was more raw and rockin'. I still think the guitar part sounds like about 4 tracks off of AB but I didn't hate the song. Now I'm SUPER curious about the album version (I'm still an album virgin! )
  7. I love this song, just bought the album (walked into my local record shop and there it was, and I wasn't expecting it at all!) and it's pretty good. But I have to admit, I never listen to Kings of Leon and I've only heard their tracks that are on the radio, but even to me the title track sounds an awful lot like them. But better.
  8. The more I listen to the new album, the more I love this track. It's nudging it's way into my top ten.

And I won't accept anything less than 5 different remixes.
  9. I perfer NLOTH 2 because the drums are better and it has more guitar in it but NLOTH 1 is still bloody brilliant. I think their going to play NLOTH 2 live instead of 1 because 2 has more guitar.

Yeah, I've been thinking about that. NLOTH 2 would make a good opener. It would work even better if there's a pause before "I'm a traffic cop"... like NLOTH1. A bit of mixture of both would be good.

I think it will be a Live Classic and i like your idea of a mixture of both versions
  12. This song just keeps getting better!

    Live version is great!
