    To save the topic of one of the best U2 songs ever written I'd like to say I hope that they'll play this as the 2nd last song Just before COL or LIB kicks in (like on Linear)

    I'm not sure...LIB is awesome, true, but I think this could turn out to an even better song live (than LIB)...Time will tell I guess

  11. Did anyone already noticed that on the official U2 site, the lyrics differ from the album?

    It says at the end of the song on http://u2.com/discography/lyrics/lyric/song/182/

    I was speeding on the subway
    Through the stations of the cross
    Every eye looking every other way
    Counting down 'til the pentecost

    Instead of
    Counting down 'till the pain will stop



    I wonder if it has been a real lyric at one time or not.
  12. It's always been 'counting down til the pain would stop'.

    Some people want to hear 'pentecost', but it's clearly 'pain would stop', makes more sense too.
