  4. I tried out this track listing today and I think it's one I'll keep for a while:

    1. NLOTH
    2. Magnificent
    3. Moment of Surrender
    4. Unknown Caller
    5. NLOTH 2
    6. GOYB (long intro)
    7. SUC
    8. Fez- Being Born
    9. Winter
    10. Breathe
    11. White As Snow
    12. Cedars of Lebanon

    Winter is a little more upbeat in tempo than WAS and it turned out to be a better transition between Fez and Breathe for me.
  5. Honestly, I begin to be a bit tired of the album. On the one hand, I think it's a great compilation of great tracks, and it has some of the greatest songs U2 ever composed (Cedars, Breathe, Unknown, Magnificent, etc)... But on the other hand, I've listened to it sooooooooooo much on the last 2 months that I barely find new things, new feelings when I listen to it. If it's played on my mum's car when I'm in, I sing along to every track and enjoy it, but (summarizing), day after day, I simply don't feel the need to listen to the album...


    PS. Unknown Caller and Moment Of Surrender are other histories, I listen to them abundantly because I'm learning them on the guitar

    You definitely need a break from it. After a week of not listening to it, it's fresh again for me now. No matter how good an album is, you can only listen to it so many times. It's the same for JT and AB. Try listening to them continuously for 2 months and you would feel the same way.

    Yes, it's a burnout (is it really? I don't know that word too much )... But the fact is that I'm afraid that even not listening to it in 2 weeks or so, when I come back to the album I don't feel the need to play it as much as I've done until now... Nevertheless, thanks for the wise advice

    see after the first week or so I stopped listening to the album regularly, and only listenend to it every 2-3 days, and then just individual songs.

    Right now I haven't listened to any NLOTH era song for a week.

    By not overlistening to it I preserve its newness (if that makes sense)

    So when I listen to the entire album again in the next couple of days, i'll enjoy it rather than be bored.

  10. Í gave it a break now. I haven't listened the album for 2 weeks or so. I'll play it soon again. That might help.
