    which nokia?
  2. Yeah they don't have the greatest cameras up there but that is nothing if you consider the rest of the phone, Nokias are the best machines ever produced. I have owned about 8 or 10 by now, and I won't ever have another brand. They simply rock.
  3. The E71 is the best phone ever made. Can't see myself ever straying from Nokia either.
  4. I still have my good old Nokia 3310, it was my first or second phone and it still works.

Nothing compares to an iPhone though, I have had any brand but an iPhone is just classic. But maybe that's personal
  5. E71 is absolutely awesome, my father had it for a year and later (last November)I got it, it was pretty cracked and wasted but even though it rocked a lot. Nokia rules, now I have a "crappy" 5220 Xpress Music which has not a lot of features but is rerally slim and light, and looks great.

too many fanboys out there. It doesn't do bluetooth, mms, multiple recipient texts, copy and paste, 2mp camera, can't switch between apps...........

    It's specced like a 2004 phone.

Agreed, though my phone does and can all that you describe, when you jailbreak it it's a magical device which you can turn into anything. MMS, bluetooth, multiple recipients, copy/paste, (video) camera etc.

It's my TV guide, it's my game machine (thousands of games!), my mail client, Twitter client, calendar/agenda with great sync with Google, it's my navigator, traffic jam notifier, weather forecaster, my visual voicemail device (which is awesome), it's my super nintendo, movie camera, flash light, music recognicition device (shazam is the greatest app ever invented), my train planner, panorama-photo-maker, my TV-watcher, remote desktop client, youtube client, my VOIP-client, my iPod and much more.

And hell, the phone works too.

Plus it's the best looking phone out there, no discussion. And the best touch screen I ever worked with.

That's the best thing of the iPhone, when you want to do it anything, you just can. With 30.000 applications and great big communities anything is possible.

But well, as long as everyone's happy with their phone I'm happy too
  8. It may me all that if you pay for all of those apps (at a cost) or void your warranty by jailbreaking it. Simple fact is that it won't do all of the basics directly out of the box.

I disagree with the best looking phone comment. It's all screen on one side and cheap plastic on the other. The touchscreen does work woo (I have an iPod touch myself). My phone is all of those things to........

You don't lose your warranty, with one click you restore it and phone companies give you warranty anyway. And with iPhone OS 3.0 this summer, all the features you mention are by default included. I know that it's too late, but at least it's coming Also for your touch.

And I don't pay for the majority of the apps, only for the real good stuff I regularly use.

Ah well, it's all personal. I disliked iPhones too, I got this one for nothing and since I have it I sold almost all my other phones.

    Something funny to close with

  10. Still very difficult to get it on a good contract either unless your wanting a 24 month contract. It's all a matter of taste though. I dislike too many wee things about the touch to consider having the iphone as my primary device. Plus my phone is better. S60 just needs a facelift.
  11. About the (crappy) camera from Nokia: I made two pictures with it (it's a Carl Zeiss 3.2 MP lens) and it's not the best but not the worst either. But...I didn't buy this phone for the camera, I have a Sony A300 DSLR for that. After a day of getting used to it, I must I'm a satisfied customer. My previous phone was a Nokia too but you soon get used to the touchscreen if you have experience with Nokia's.
