  2. I'm sure that one will see the light of the day sometime. If the rumour about a Dortmund DVD is true, we'll surely see a Lovetown gig when the time is there. There is footage, there is a commercial U2 and there are hungry fans.
  3. Hello friends, I receive today mu gift, I've already the songs, but it's a nice pakaging and a good present for fan, and I hope a Dvd Gift next year, or a live for the next tour, U2 has got many material in their back catalogue,

  6. I think you missed the point. Re-read my original:
    Medium, Rare and Remastered. Cool enough to have except that most fans ALREADY have all of the songs. Certainly many that are long time fan club members.

    This (the fanclub and gift packages) is an area that can use some improvement.

    In addition, most longtime fans buy most if not all the albums as released. Yes, I get it, not all but, MOST.

    That being mostly true, then most if not all would have all of the 2nd disc as the first few songs were on the remasters and the remaining on disc 2 have been on one or more singles as B-Sides.

    As for disc one, while not every fan bought the iTunes complete U2 set, but I haven't met a longtime fan yet that hadn't gotten ahold of a copy of the 'Unreleased and Rare' portion that is the contents of Medium, Rare & Remastered, as it's been highly traded amongst fans and available on U2mp3s and others sites for 5 years.

    So yeah, I stick by my original comment. "Cool enough to have except that most fans ALREADY have all of the songs." Most is not ALL. I never said that. But yes, MOST.

    So yes, nice packaging. Cool to have but definitely only MEDIUM on the rare scale. And yes, the fan club could use a bit more imagination when it comes to these types of releases.

  10. Made my own Medium, Rare and Remasterd. Called it 'The Good, The Best and The Unknown'.

    Many fans are not as obsessive as you or I. So many fans would not have all of these tracks. That was my point.
