  1. All older singers have problemns hiting high notes. Listen to Jon Bon Jovi do Living on a Prayer nowadays.

    Perhaps he should become a *cringes at the very thought* castrati, although whether that would have any effect at his age would remain to be seen...

    He has, in some performances, dropped down an octave rather than try and hit certain high stuff, so I guess he could still do that. Hell, I do that when I can't hit high stuff, which, to be honest, I can't do without great difficulty lol...

    200% agree...listen to the late Vertigo-shows from ealry 2006 and especially the end of 2006. It's almost Zoo Tv-ish...it's not the same as Dan says, but he can hit them. Trust in Bono, lads!

    Yep. There's something maturing in that voice like the fine wines he drinks on a frequent basis.
  6. Okay, I agree I might be a bit spoiled because of ZooTV. He can reach some high notes and Miss Sarajevo in Milan was indeed beautiful but I think he can't hold the high level of singing a whole night any more

  9. His voice changes constantly and that's the beauty of it. He can do the high notes, yes.
    And he always finds a way to somehow "cheat" on stage to do the song he wants it to be done.
