1. I'd like to see either NLOTH go as a single, (the song lol), unknown caller is good, but i can't see a wider audience being too fond of the robotic like lyrics. So for me it's either NLOTH or Breathe, but I'd REALLY like to see White As Snow go as a single. It's probably my favourite song off the album.
  2. There's really no point. If Magnificent charts at No 42 the others have no hope. The first 2 singles are traditionally the strongest over here. Gulp....

Crazy, Stand Up and Breathe would all make good single choices with the right promo and interest, but the singles chart over here just doesn't reflect 'good' music any more. So why bother?
  3. A complete waste of time releasing any more singles off this album. But I suppose the've got to release two more to complete that singles box set that a few lucky people were able to get.
  4. I think Breathe and Crazy would have made much better first singles than GOYB and Magnificent. Boots is too left field and Magnificent is a bit austere to cause any real sizzle.

Breathe is a rousing rocker in much the same vein of HTDAAB (though with a definite flavour of its own) and would have charted much better.

    In response to the OP:

I always assumed Breathe was going to be the last single, seeing all the praised lavished on it by Eno and co. It's an obvious choice for a single too.

So does the presence of a live rendition of Breathe as a b-side on the Magnificent single, really rule it out as the next single?

I would say yes, but I'm not sure.
  6. No line or breathe for me, should have been breathe one of these first.

Originally posted by mrbullet:So, we have Boots & Magnificent, Crazy touted as the next release to tie in with the tour, does anybody KNOW What the final single is(no speculating), 'cause i haven't got a clue what would even make a good single. I would have said 'Breathe' but that's now a b-side so...........

"I'll Go Crazy..." is supposed to be released as a single. The other was to be Stand Up Comedy" but as "Breathe" has been going over well... it might replace "...Crazy..." or "Stand Up".
  9. If Breathe is already an album track and a B-side it won't get another release as an A-side.

    Alex
  10. If there won't be a regular b-side, I don't need no single anymore
  11. I'd love to see No Line on the Horizon itself as a single;M. Although there is already a B-Side version so I doubt it will be now.

Should be Crazy but not Breathe I don't think...
  12. In my opinion Stand Up Comedy should be a great single, but I don't think we'll see it
