1. Best opener? After listening to the NLOTH performance from the Culture Show and imagine that song being more polished, I'd say No Line On The Horizon.
  2. i'm going for Magnificent, some random intro then the keyboard kicking in being the big give away

Indeed. I have been thinking of it... The other day, when I saw the first picture of The Claw being assembled in the Camp Nou, I really could see it. They go up the stage (how? we still don't know haha) and quietly pick up their instruments. Then Larry makes four drumsticks and NLOTH comes in insanely loudly (a la Vertigo, but 100 times better and louder). So awesome

Exactly what I had in mind..mindblowing
  5. They won't open with the most popular song out of the album... They'll reserve it for a further place in the setlist I feel. Everyone wants to hear Magnificent, if they play it at the beggining the show will only go downhill after it

  6. I'd love it as the first song. That intro is begging to open the whole concert experience.
  7. My instincts tell me No Line On The Horizon followed by Get On Your Boots, but I wouldnt rule out a rejigged Fez-Being Born, coz they wanted to open the album with it, then got wimpy at the last minute and swapped it with No Line. So I think those are the two possibilities. Magnificent will be saved (to segue with streets?).

I certainly hope they play Unknown Caller, it wouldnt surprise me if they left it out for some retarded reason

Absolutely! I really think it'd be a great opener -- very loud, very powerful, very cool! I remember one reviewer saying that NLOTH was going to be their best opener since Zoo Station.

Yep, absolutely. I think NLOTH - GOYB is a probable initial sequence,.
  10. Open and close with Vertigo I reckon
