    - Including No Line On The Horizon, there will probably be 3 albums from the last sessions !
    - Already 5 million copies from NLOTH sold ! (while i just read in another topic 2-3 million)
    - The Claw does 'strange things' in the dark (ok mentioned before, but what you think is meant by this ?)

I think people quickly have written off No Line as a failure, but i don't see that as being the case at all, 5 million albums in this day and age in less than 4 months....not bad at all.

I take anything said about sessions and songs in the future with more than a grain of salt
  2. About the Claw, I read it reflects lights or something.

Yep thought that too... 5 million is a lot, certainly for a so called failure

But the thing that interests me the most is the 3-album-idea
  4. Hmm the screen will be Transparant and Transforming
  5. Yup, my guess is it can drop down and act as a curtain.
  6. Don't we love Gallagher sometimes?

Oasis rocker Noel Gallagher has blasted U2 frontman Bono and Coldplay's Chris Martin - for turning their gigs into a guilt trip for fans.

The Wonderwall hitmaker insists concertgoers don't want to hear about killer diseases and world poverty when they see their heroes perform.

He has urged his fellow rockers to drop politics from their music - because fans just want to have an enjoyable evening out.

Gallagher tells Italian newspaper Corriere Della Sera, "We get on the stage and play. I have been to loads of concerts where bands don't play, they just talk about politics. At a U2 or Coldplay concert there is always a message about poor people or people dying from hunger. OK, but can't we just have a nice evening? Do we always have to feel guilty?"

  7. lol im sure he lashed out once before about this
Anythin for press these days I guess and dosent matter if its recycled
  8. He has a point there, but you have to give Bono some kudos too. One has achieved a LOT and partly due to Bono's speeches and collections during the gigs. And they still get us rocking. But sometimes I wish he just left it for what it is.
  9. No. I hate him every and every minute of my life. He's a wanker, he is THE wanker, not Chris Martin lol.

I already spoke my mind about this... U2 were born as a political band, and they have and SHOULD remain like this. Otherwise they'll be closer to the Rolling Stones every day, just making good music without any message nor emotion behind. No way. U2 is politics, and politics is U2. And I don't care of what they do out of the stage, I'm refering to the concerts themselves. OK, a 5 minutes speech is not very rocker, but it is NECCESARY, the medium profile of a U2 fan is the one who THINKS of the world he/she lives in, and since we sometimes choose not to think, we need someone to wake our thoughts up. And if he's called Paul Hewson or if it's called Mahatma Ghandhi I don't care. Just we need him. Cheers to Bono for trying it.
