On first listen I was saying its just OK, then I was like its a good one, but now I think its very good. Not on the level of JT or AB, any resemblence to those 2 are off the mark if you ask me. I used to dislike Unknown Caller and Cedars of Lebanon, but theyve grown on me now, the only weak song IMO is White as Snow.

You can hear that there are still some influences from the last two albums but they are definitely willing to change their sound and that counts for both War and No Line.
This album delivers some epics. Unknown Caller is the song I struggled the most with and now I really love it. Besides that I consider Moment Of Surrender as there best song since Stay... maybe it's even better... live version is a huge improvement and considering that, the album version was already very good.
It really could have been an epic album if songs like Boots, Crazy and Stand Up were left out and replaced with songs like Being Born and Unknown Caller, more experimental stuff. Those three songs are the songs that make you think of HTDAAB and ATYCLB. But maybe these songs are just needed to wake you up or something... it's not that I dont like them but they are a bit throw away, you can love them for a week and then hate them the next week.
So I'm curious to the sequel, I really hope for more experimentation.
