1. nice setlist, ES,NYD & stay, i liked it

  2. Apparently they were late with the soundcheck yesterday. They only had time to soundcheck four songs.

  3. I still withhold that GoYB would do much better to get the crowd started though. It has more of a kick in it.

  4. Very true. Its best versions are clearly full electrical band.

Edit: With the drums entering on the second verse.

  5. I don't think there is a curfew in Gothenburg. At least not until damn late.
  6. Mysterious Ways isnt good enough to take a 6 minute slot during a show so ditching a solo to compact the song more is no bad move
  7. Did I mention how much better tonight was compared to the first night, by the way?

Listen to the videos. I have yet to listen to the Dublin gigs, but apart from (possibly and probably one of those), this is the best concert yet on this tour.

BIG EDIT: PERFORMANCE WISE. The set list, snippets, and song structure may not have been so.
  8. same old boring setlist

  9. DIsagree totally. 'Stay' is far better in acoustic version, the full version has without doubt the dullest edge guitar line off all time!!

ES is so average in my opinion, playing ES instead of TUF is criminal!!

  10. Big deal. It hasn't got a solo - who cares. Surely there's enough solos without yet another one.

Stay definitely isn't one of my favorite Edge songs either, but I think the full electrical versions actually expanded the sound where it was needed. I actually don't mind the acoustic version either though. Any Stay appearance is good for me.

Disagree with you there. If anything, for me, each performance has gotten better than the last. If they keep it in the setlist, I think the quality of its performance rather than the spontaneity of its appearance is going to be the thing that will eventually really make it something special live.
