    A Day Without Me snippet.

    Now that's cool!
  5. 24 songs, 2h15, Bad, End of the World, NYD, Stay all in one show, sequence world-NYD - that's what I would call some surprises.
No neeew songs, granted - but not a standard set neither.

Anyone know what part of A Day Without Me he sung?
  7. Nice setlist. I'll probably pick the boot of this one up.
  8. ok i havent put my review on yet!

i did the friday night gig...

i got in early, and being my first U2 gig i spent 62 quid on mechandise! but i was gobsmacked at the stage and wembley itself!

i was sat behind the stage, near the top, and i admit i was quite surprised how many empty seats there were, and how empty the standing area was behind the stage, but according to U2.com it was a record crowd of 90,000!

but anways, the support groups were fantastic, and when u2 turned up i was always on my feet, dancing away, singing etc. i was over the moon when the guys came performing at the back of the stage, i was like "my god i can see u2, they are facing me my god!"

my personal highlights for the show were: -

    magnificent
    beautiful day
    elevation
    still havent found
    unknown caller
    city of blinding lights
    vertigo
    crazy tonight remix
    sunday bloody sunday
    pride
    walk on
    mysterious ways
    one
    ultraviolet
    with or without you

now from listening to previous dvds,i was sick to death of how sunday bloody sunday sounded, but that night it sounded immense! crazy tonight and mysterious ways, i felt like i was in a club and i danced so hard! unknown caller and still havent found and elevation and pride and walk on and ultraviolet and with or without you and city of blinding lights i sung my heart out! im sure i lost my voice!

but especially during walk on and with or without you, had meaning to me, i had feelings running through me, it felt weird, i felt sad, thinking of things in the past and people who mean lots to me.

so all i can say really is...

thanks U2 for giving me a fantastic night, a night of immense joy, abit of sadness (for good reason), and ultimatly a night i will never forget!

thanks a million, worth every penny
