except, I hardly know x&y as an album (only the 3 singles).. that one went completely past me.

Oh...tbh I thought I was still quite generous for it lol
There's really...well...not one song I like on there...
  2. I like Coldplay, but I definitely don't love them. I don't own any of their albums but I do really love Clocks. I'm not sure why but I kind of got a little sick of them last summer when everyone was raving about Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends.
  3. I saw the band a few times in arenas, last night was my CP Stadium premier, though. Pretty good show, I must say. 1h50 minutes, "standard set", got a chance to hear Green Eyes finally. They had to fight with a bunch of technical glitches (Right at the start, the band was buried by the huge curtain on stage ) and Chris (who left the stage for 3 minutes before Fix you, leaving the rest behind looking quite puzzled) apologized a lot during the show. The stage looks quite cool, and playing the acoustic set at the other side of the stadium was quite nice for the people there.
All in all, it was a little strange to enter a stadium without seeing the Claw after this summer but I had some fun. Seemed like the band was in good mood, too, Chris being quite chatty, smiling and running around a lot.
Highlight song was Yellow for me. Played a paced up version that really rocks.

And note to myself: If you wanna tape a gig, don't leave your external mics at home or the result will be shit.

sounds like a really good concert experience
I had considered going to see them this summer as well, but the ticket prices weren't that cheap, and some Irish band burned my money alive the past weeks, so... maybe next time they're around
  6. Will see them within 2 weeks.. Stil have to decide if I swap tickets for Wednesday.

One could get very cheap tix at the venue. Just like at the U2 gigs...

    the gig in 2:30:

  8. I like that stage, must have been a great show...Chris singing some Michael Jackson as well ? In what song it was snippeted?

  9. It's not a snippet. They play Billie Jean in the acoustic part on the C-Stage.

  10. Ah ok, it's been a while for me since the last time I listened to a Coldplay gig (because an other band has a world tour). I liked last year's Rotterdam II show, but this looks more impressive..
