1. What about the two broadcasts offered here?
  2. I am a little late to the party, have been away for a while.

I downloaded both versions of the Sheffield show and must say they are both amazing, quality is brilliant and the show is absolutely great. I've heard people say that one may be better than the other, but so far I haven't really been able to tell much difference between the two broadcasts (Q and Hallam). However, I notice that you don't really hear much audience, so my question is if there is a broadcast where you have more audience participation? If not, that's not really a problem, I'm just curious.
  3. Does the Vertigo sound fine on either tape? I read on here that were a few problems with it.
  4. 2009-08-20 FLAC - Sheffield (Hallam FM Broadcast - Fixed)

There is a new Fixed Version on U2torrents.

    Recorded by MyPetWookie
    Fixed by miguelca

Note by miguelca: this recording had left/right channels swapped, resulting in a strange sound with The Edge on the right speaker. I've fixed this and asked for MyPetWookie's permission to upload it. Thank him and thank All_I_Need too for fixing the Vertigo track.

Lineage (MyPetWookie - before fix): Hallam FM Radio Broadcast > PC Line In > Audacity > WAV > Split Tracks > Flac Level 6 SB Aligned.
Lineage (miguelca - fix): TLH decode to WAV > Adobe Audition 3.0 (Effects, Stereo Imagery, Channel Mixer, Swap Channels) > TLH encode to FLAC Level 6 SB Aligned and generate .ffp

    Nice, nice...

  7. after a few listens I have to conclude this is a pretty good gig, Bono's voice isnt 100% but nevertheless there are some great performances (Vertigo, Crazy, UV, Elevation).
  8. Elevation was fail IMO. He couldn't make the "oooooh-oooh's".

  9. What about Magnificent then? Just before the soaring part before the solo, all you hear is ''ooh ooh ooh', like he couldn't reach it then.

You'll live...U2 have better songs than Elevation, plus were you there? If you were then have a whinge but be glad it's been recorded for posterity.
