  2. That's pretty much it. Among other things, I love Edge's guitar tone on Pop - the fuzzed-out layers are more expansive and have more depth than they do on Zooropa. Zooropa to me always sounded too thin and too electronic, which made it impersonal and distant. Pop seems to retain more of its original rock/pop origin while still trying on those electronic layers, and I think because of that I can still make some kind of connection with it.

    Although, for the record, Dirty Day is still in my top ten.

    The top two, as they always will, remain the same. Boy and Zooropa have moved up, Ive finally begun to appreciate them properly. Bomb is the biggest drop, I just find the second half of that album very weak. If 'Mercy' was on it it would move up several places.
