  1. Vertigo tour photos. .. .

    Any reviews of the DVD yet folks? Keen to hear
  2. Got mine today as well and have watched both dvd9 and dvd5 versions back to back and honestly can't tell any difference between either of them. I've enjoyed watching them and have a queue of people who want to borrow them to copy. One copy is for me and the other is for my nephew who saw his first U2 gig at Sheffield so this is a great memento for him.

    The dvd is very professional and I love the spinning U2 360 logo on the menu (i'm going on an internet search to find one for a screensaver now) and the claw concept/production feature on the end is a nice touch. The cut you2tube videos look nice on my tv and the sound is of course immaculate.

    Because the dvd has been put together from you2tube videos it does not of course replace what the band will release (nor do I think it is intended too), it does, for me, go hand in hand with it and it is wonderful to have a show to watch so early in the tour.

    Thanks again for all your hard work and effort, you can see the love that you've put in to this.

    the spinning logo was created here....so you wont find it online!...if you want it as a screensaver i`ll see what i can do...(obiously without the tracks listings etc)

    You're right-I searched on google and the top link was my post on here saying I'd search for it!! If it's easier to do that would be great but please don't go to any more trouble

Hi ive got my copy and i have to say just like many others the dvd is first class considering its a make up and like other members have said he wont replace the offical dvd when that comes out by it come a very close second again my thanks go out to Genesis hopefully we can meet up in the next if there is a next european leg next year.

    are you serious?....

    the other multicams have very slow edits, the focus on showing footage as opposed to editing in time!...the editing is here is not only better but it contains audio that as you say `is far better than anything else!`...the package is far better, presentation is better, and the technique to edit from various sources is also harder to do because of sync issues....
    if you think other multicams are better then thats your opinion..personally i feel they all suffer and in fact can be quite boring due to poor sound and slow edits.
    the dvd produced also has a decent balance of pace...tracks like boots, crazy, vertigo, mysterious ways have very quick edits, balanced out with slow edits to other tracks...dvd`s that have been edited here do not have that..they are one pace...this can make things a little boring to watch.

    i would like to get the dvd9 version but on ebay it's off
